# Setting up email notifications

This feature is only available to clients who have purchased simple multi-level approval.

Email notification allows you to receive email notifications of documents awaiting your approval. By turning on notifications, you will receive emails with a preview of the invoice and the option to view it or approve it immediately.

However, you have to enable this notification yourself in your user settings.

You can set up an email notification according to the following steps:

1.  Open "Settings" in the upper right corner after clicking your icon.
2.  Email notification settings can be found under language settings.
3.  Turn on the notifications you want to receive.  
    *You can set an alert with each new document waiting for your approval and a summary once every 2 days.*   
    *You can choose one or both options.*
4.  Save the changes at the top of the settings - by clicking the Apply button.
5.  From now on, you will receive email notifications from us about documents awaiting your approval.
